Forging method and application
Casting forming technology (net forming) refers to the part casting forming layer, only a little processing or no processing to meet the requirements of the part forming technology. The fine casting forming technology is a tense part of the manufacturing technology of the previous generation, and it is also a common parts manufacturing process used in the automobile, mining, energy, construction, aviation, aerospace, weapons and other industries. Close casting skills not only thrifty materials, energy, eliminate processing processes and set up equipment, and significantly improve productivity and product quality, low cost of delivery, thereby improving the market competitiveness of products.
When the wax mold is limited, the pressure mold with high surface finish of the cavity is selected, so the surface finish of the investment mold is also relatively high. In addition, the inner surface of the cavity, which is in direct contact with the molten metal, is made by hanging a very fine refractory paint on the investment mold. Therefore, the surface finish of investment castings is higher than that of general forging parts, and the surface roughness is generally between Ra3.2~6.3μm, and it is better to be below Ra1.6. Hot shell casting is selected for melting die forging, and the filling ability is strong, which can produce thin-wall castings and thin skirt patterns. The wall thickness of the castings has been able to achieve less than 2 mm.
The forging department's own specialization, scale and intensification level is not high, the operation and management mode is extensive, and the technical level is slow to improve, which restricts the development of the industry. Some of the large complete sets of equipment urgently needed for high technical content, good quality, cost-effective forgings also rely on imports, restricting the development of China's equipment manufacturing industry and improve the technical level. In recent years, according to the industrial policy and market demand of the country to vigorously develop the equipment manufacturing industry, China's forging line has adjusted the industrial structure, optimized the overall structure and product structure of the industry, achieved product upgrading and technological upgrading, improved the overall level of the industry, gradually improved the level of localization, and shortened the gap with foreign advanced levels. With the rapid development of China's equipment manufacturing industry, the demand for high-speed heavy-duty gear with high stability, high load and high technical content is increasing day by day, making high-speed heavy-duty gear forgings in short supply.
The fine forging method is proud of the sensitive selection of materials, which can forge various alloy messy castings, especially the forging of heat-resistant steel, high-temperature alloy and other special material castings. For example, the blade of a jet engine, its streamlined profile and cooling cavity, simply cannot be constructed with machining technology. The production of fine forging technology with investment die can not only achieve mass production. The consistency of the casting is ensured, and the stress concentration of the residual blade after machining is avoided.
