The perfect precision and perfect error of mechanical forgings are the terms of evaluating the geometric parameters of the perfect surface. The perfect precision is measured by tolerance, the higher the accuracy is. The perfection error is expressed by numerical value. The larger the value is, the larger the error is, the higher the perfection precision is, the smaller the perfection error is, and vice versa.
The actual parameters obtained by the forging perfection method are not very accurate. From the function of the component, as long as the perfection error is within the tolerance range required by the component diagram, the perfection accuracy is considered.
The quality of the machine depends on the quality of the parts and the assembly quality of the machine. The quality of the parts includes the precision of the parts and the surface quality.
The perfection accuracy of mechanical forgings refers to the degree to which the actual geometric parameters (size, shape and position) and the ideal geometric parameters are suitable after the parts are perfected. The difference between them is called the perfection error. The size of the perfection error reflects the level of the perfection accuracy.
The perfection of precision includes three aspects:
Dimensional accuracy refers to the fit degree between the actual dimension of the component and the tolerance band of the component size after perfection.
Shape accuracy refers to the degree of fit between the actual geometry and the ideal geometry of the finished component surface.
Position accuracy refers to the actual position and ideal between the relevant surfaces of the perfected parts.
